well i took pictures, but my memory card ate em... and i had to reformat...
the guy wants $500 for it... it is a 67 1600 no tops... original seats... very little rust...
missing most of the chrome... no trunk lid... and the motor isnt original...
i am planning to buy it in a couple weeks...
it has everything i wanted... (flat dash, good body, short winsheild)...
i will take more pics in a couple weeks...
it has no title... so what should i do about that...
thanks,
Chris

No biggie! It's called a "Transfer Without Title."
Just have him right you a hand written receipt on paper that states:
1. Identifies the car (License plate, VIN, and Engine Number)
2. Identifies the seller (with signature and Driver's License #)
3. Identifies the buyer (with signatue and Driver's License #)
4. Date the sale was made.
5. The agreed upon sale price (used to tax)
Optional
6. Any contractual reservations (i.e. "as-is" etc...)
How long has the car been out of Registration? After 10 years that car was deleted. If the motor is the right motor for the year car it will made to be the original motor at time of registration. Any motor you have in the car at Registration is the original motor as far as DMV is concerned. The 10 year thing must apply.

The VIN makes the car a 1967 1/2 1600
Your Engine # is for a 1967 1/2 R16
The Numbers match!!!
