Hello from South Dakota !

I picked up a 69 2000 a few years ago in Washington state for a $100.00. It was stripped down but complete. It was originally from southern California and shows 48,000 miles on the OD. It has been in storage in my dad's garage here in South Dakota. I recently moved back and my dad and I fired her up this morning. We sprayed some two cycle gas in the carbs and just fired her up a little. I'll take some pictures this afternoon.

Welcome Nickle Eye. We seem to be getting a lot of new members here lately. That is great! Good luck with your project and looking forward to seeing some pictures.

I'm in a little town on highway 34 in eastern SD called Fedora. I've got family up there in Grand Forks. I was actually born in Grand Forks. We might have to meet up. Didn't figure there would be many of these roadster in the dakotas. Are you any good with these carbs?

Didn't Nissan once offer a performance oriented carb manifold for the VG30? I always thought that a pair of the Porsche 40 IDA3s would be sweet on a VG - the stacks sticking through the hood of course!

Yes, I understand you can, and I believe I've seen a pic, but figured we was all talking stock VG30 w/ FI, that's all.
