First Club Run for 2004

First run of the year. Sorry for the short notice. Next Saturday the 24th of January depending on the weather. Meet up at the Park and Ride off the southbound 101-Rohnert Park Expressway exit between 9:30 and 10 AM. This will be a short one. I figured we could head up over Sonoma Mountain road and cruise into Glenn Ellen. Stop for a bit and then head back the same way taking a different route and coming out at Crane Canyon road. Some pretty good twisties with a lot of pretty scenery. It should not last more than a wee bit over two and a half hours. Come on out and blow the cobb webs out of your car. You can reach me at my cell 707-217-5129. See ya!

TR,

Who are you kidding in the "rear view mirror"?

Steve thanks for the run and it was nice meeting all of you. Hope to catch up with you more often (you too TR).

Yeah, it was good. A bit slippery in a few spots but it is a nice road to exercise a roadster on. Next time we can make a trip up to Mike Young's Roadster Ranch. It was nice to meet both you and Alexi. TR, your motor transplant looks awesome. I think I may start looking for a normally aspirated S motor. The turbo looks a bit too complicated for me. See you.

I have to agree on all counts, you guys were as friendly in person as in these discussions...

A run up to Mike Young's would be fun. He also seems like a good guy, I have purchased a few parts from him and spoke with him a few times also...We just can't let my mom find out I was in the area and didn't stop by!

Steve-If you get an SR20DE motor, you'll have both Alexi's and my transplants to study/learn from and improve on! Now I better finish up the details on mine so you guys don't finish before me! TR

I am up for a run to Mike's. I am currious to meet him and check out his establishment. I also wouldn't be opposed to go sooner than the monthly run.

I agree, we do not have to wait for a club run to go to Mike's. I am ready just about any time and my wheel bearings are fine. Mike is a great guy and being at his place is just plain fun. Let me know when you guys want to go. I will be ready.

I would be willing to go on the 31st. I have a pretty flexible schedule so what works for you?
