Bay Area Tranny Work

Post by impinhigh »

I need to have the seals changed on 4 speed gear box and have had such BAD luck picking a shops in the past I thought I’d throw it out there for recommendations. I’d love to have Mike Young on the case but it‘s long haul up to his place.
Anyone good shops in the Bay Area say, south of the City and north of Gilroy???

Input appreciated!

Give Mike Young a call. He has a really good tranny guy. I think the guy is in S.F. but I'm not sure. I need to get my 5 spd rebuilt, and when I have the money I will have this guy do mine.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

I've had great luck with Classic Euroasian. They rebuilt the trans on my old CSP311 Silvia.

However: They are pretty far from the Bay Area, but they did a great job.
