New in this Forum but long time Roadster owner from Sweden

Post by pooh »

Hi to all, my name is Holger and I’m from Sweden, with 4 year i come to Germany and moved 2005 back to Sweden.
End of 1998 I found an offer in the newspaper in Germany, There was a Datsun SPL311 from 1966 in a not so nice condition for a much to high price. A half Year later I got the car for 20% of the old price. Under 1999 and 2000 I hold on with the restoration (which was quite complicate, because no parts available in Europe) . After that I drove the car daily for about 2 years, then I placed the car in a garage and start travel around the world because of my job.
I forgot All about the Roadster in my garage.
2005 I moved with my family to Sweden and changed my job in the company to a local hired.
6 weeks ago I took my car with from Germany to Sweden and now I want to have it back on the road ASAP.
I’m really happy to find this Forum to get contact to other Roadster driver, and some help to fix my car.
Pictures from the Roadster will follow.

Kind regards
Holger

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.
