Hi Steve,

I was looking at the registry to see vin numbers close to mine. I see that Spl311-13977 might have an error? It has the same vin in the title as mine, SPL311-13956. I was curious if this is an error, or if maybe one of our cars has had the vin's switched/faked sometime in the last 30 years by PO's. I am hoping that it is just a simple error, and that Ihave not bought my car under false info.

Ahh caught me again. The older I get the fatter my fingers get. It was a clerical error on my part. I have been known to make many but I always fix 'em right away when I find out about them. Thanks for pointing it out. I do not think any one would knowingly steal someone elses VIN but then I have been wrong before. Rest assured your car is legitimate.
