How much ATF oil should I put in each carb?
I put approximately 1" in it. Is it correct?

The amount of oil is not that overly critical. The weight is the biggest issue - and the fact that some is even in there. If you look closely at the shaft of the dampers that you pull out, you should see some marks on there - much like a dipstick. The oil should be between the two. If you overfill, don't sweat it. The excess will be sucked through the engine and passed out the exhaust...

Use Marvel's Mystery Oil. A previous string on the baord lead to this conclusion.

ATF will work great. But MMO works better.

Hmm... so MArvel mystery oil is better? I think I am going to give it a try. Do they go by that name? or is there a specific word, like "Transmission" or maybe the weight?

I've seen Marvel Mystery Oil in places like Pep Boys, Autozone, etc, and it is just labeled as "Marvel Mystery Oil". I didn't see a viscosity listed, but a the time I made light of the name...
