Greetings everyone,

I introduced myself on a earlier posting and told everyone that I was shopping for a Roadster... well, that day has come. I recently picked up a 67 Roadster 1600. I went back and forth on a couple of them and ended up with this beast. The guy I bought it from, his wife inherited it after her father died. Her father was the service manager for a Datsun/Nissan dealership in Ohio and restored this thing from hand back in 85. Long story short it’s been sitting in a garage for a number of years and driven a couple of times a year just to keep things moving. It’s got some old ply tires that are horrendous which I plan on swapping out sooner than later but I wanted to drop this board a quick line and let you know that I finally feel like a member of the team now that I have my own roadster. I'll post some pics on here as soon as I figure out how to do it

Very cool. Apperantly posting pics is harder than fixing cars If you need a place to host them, email me the pics and I'll send you a link to them. I have a bunch of web space I don't use much.

Thanks dbrick for the offer, that's nice of you, but I think I might have figured this out (I hope!). Here's a picture I took with my phone - not the best but it will give you folks a quick idea of what I picked up.

Very nice looking car. It looks like you found a keeper. There are several tutorials on posting pictures. Here is one on embedding pictures in your thread

Dam, that's nice. I mean, especially considering you just baught it. My 67.5 is a bucket of bolts..... with a lot of surface rust. And some mice I think.
I prefer to think of it a a barrel of potential. You can't even really feel good about like tearing your car all apart. It's too nice. I'm sure glad my car's not as nice as yours. I'm just going to keep telling myself that.

Hey, I was keeping up just fine until Dos 6.2. Here's a laugh, my computer class in high school was on Comadore PET 8's and we had a Teletype and a Deckwriter hooked up to a "mini", about the size of a small refrigerator. I can program a mean BASIC

That part I got, but how do you make the image a hyperlink? Prime WIKI topic here for the more computer literate to share.
