Hi, In my 67.5 spl's lower dash area, where the radio should be, it is not put together, I found it in the trunk. Does anyone have any photo's of the lower face plate area in its original set up. It looks like the choke goes in one of the holes. I do have a cigarette lighter in the middle hole but nothing on either side of it. Also looks like the upper slide levers are just hanging from under the dash, are they a PITA do reinstall.. Close ups or a good description would be greatful...Bill

Choke is on the left, hand throttle is on the right. The levers are not bad to connect and install. Just a few contortions!

The one on eBay is a 65 - early 67 model. The only difference is that the 67.5 has a hand throttle cable while the early ones has a washer pump in the top right spot.
Oh, if you want to part with that shift knob, let me know...

Sid, I looked under the hood latch/firewall area and the cable-end was fastened to the verticle throttle lever so I looked under the dash and there it was, the hand throttle without the knob. Sad to say,the choke cable is one of those butt ugly Nissan replacements that is soon coming out of the car. I take it that the knobs on the lower dash plate are not like the 68-69 ones that I have many of.
I'm glad you mentioned that the Ebay lower dash was differant, those cut off water lines threw me a curve, now I know what to look for.
At this moment I'm not sure what I'm going to do with Crusty's shift knob but if or when I replace it, which I will probably do, you can just have it.
I got the car running today and drove it up and down the lane I live on, brakes and exhaust are in the near future.
Thanks... Bill

Gerardo has nice reproduction knobs as does Dean. I may have the odd knob or two lying about - if I find any, I will let you know.
It should be a straight foreward install.
