Would anyone comment if these lights will fit?

This topic was discussed on the Roadster list a while back, but I don't recall anyone actually doing it. I don't have a set of taillights here, but they look like they could be made to work rather easily...

Well I am hoping... This would change out the lights and replaces the lenses.

(Maybe even save few amps)

I have been casually looking into this too. I did find that motorcyle shops have led clusters that plug into standard bulb sockets. Don't know if they have anything that will fit roadsters, but it may be another option.

Make sure the leds for the rear stop lights are "High intensity" LEDs. The lights that are on the trailer site appear to be standard running light, not stop lights. There are companys that make Leds that plug into the standard socket and replace a filament bulb. I don't know the name off hand, but i saw it on a Hot Rod episode on SPEED channel. This is what i plan to use as my rear tail light once i get that far in my resto-mod, once i start, which will be next week, which is code for sometime next year, which is code for i have no idea when i will actually start.
