Post by Victor_laury »

America's first and original - 3rd Annual Japanese Classic Car Show - October, 6th Saturday

For Immediate Release
June 16, 2007

Hawaiian Gardens, California
Japanese Classic Car Show Association
Event Address: Queen Mary Events Park, 1126 Queens Hwy., Long Beach, California

This year, 2007, celebrates a half-century of Japanese cars sold in America. In celebration of this milestone, the organizers of the single largest all-vintage-Japanese car show in North America, announce the Third Annual Japanese Classic Car Show, to be held October 6, 2007, at the Queen Mary in Long Beach. JCCS Association invites you to join the fun at America's first and original large scale Japanese car show, celebrating the emergence of old-school Japanese cars.

Over 300 pre-1985 Japanese cars are expected at the event, spanning all marques: Toyota, Mazda, Nissan/Datsun, Honda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Isuzu, Daihatsu, Hino, Prince, and others. Traditionally, JCCS has offered a mix of factory-original and modern modified, the US-market and the Japan-home-market, and the famous and the infamous—truly something for everyone. The location, looking out over bay, is among the most scenic in Long Beach.

Registration will be open on July 15th at www.japaneseclassiccarshow.com but be advised: each year, pre-registration has ended early, with no day-of-show parking available due to space constraints.

The 3rd annual JCCS is from 9am to 3pm. Spectator admission is just $5 per person, with kids under 12 Free. Parking is $3 to $10. For more information and the full version of our Press Release, click www.japaneseclassiccarshow.com .

If anyone is considering going to this show, I would strongly recommend it, I went Last year and had a great time, it is one of the most professionally run shows I have seen.

Last Year there were about 17 Roadster owners in attendance, but being there with all the other Classic Japanese cars is just awesome!!

Looking forward to it again this year!

The last car is an early Subaru.

BTW : Trying to get things figured so I can attend the '07 show...

Might be able to bring the latest Datsun to the show (but it isn't a roadster, 510 or z)...

It's a Subaru 360. With a chop job that isn't factory.

Our local Japanese Classic Car Show is on 26 August, should be a good day as well.

Cheers.

PS Dan - what is it?
