Greetings fellow Roadster Enthusiast. I just got my Fairlady a few weeks ago, had her shipped down from Washington. She has some work to be done but she is well on her way to meeting others. Already done enough to get some attention as we cruised around town.
Looking forward to doing a run or two in the near future.

Welcome Chris. There are quite a few roadsters in your area. As a matter of fact they are doing a run June 16th--details here!

welcome Chris
Hey Chris,
several roadster owners in your area, quite some custom work as well.
Yep, a mntn twisty driving event, 6/16, starts in Pasadena and goes northwest of there, to the central valley (Taft) for lunch.
run to California Speedway the next weekend (unsure of Sat/Sun yet) for roadster (and other vintage) racing viewing.

Thanx
Thanx Fergus, I have not driven my Roadster more then 20 miles at once so far. Had carb problems and replaced the entire float bowl system. I think I need sync before I go to far. I might get this done this week and yet I have to replace all the tires before I do a run like this. I am hoping to see you at the Speedway.

Re: Newbie
Congrats. I find it interesting how many of us purchase cars from out of state. Chris in CA buys a '66 1600 from WA. I bought a '66 1600 from CA. If our timing had been better, we could've saved the shipping costs!Fairlady66 wrote: I just got my Fairlady a few weeks ago, had her shipped down from Washington.

At least yours is on the road....sigh...
