Nismou,
I have a clutch hose, brand new if you need it. Never installed. I'm in LA so pretty near you. PM if interested.

clutch slave hose option

Post by FergO2k »

Tom,
don't forget to check with Pep Boys. I just got a clutch slave from them (had to order), and they might have the hose as well. (common with other Datsun and foreign models? its a Nabco)

Last year we had a corvette joining the ranks. As I recall, Victor still managed to lead the pack!

caravan from OC

Google maps says 47 miles from my house, (405/605/5/2) so that's about a 6am departure from somewhere near the fwy.
Eric is much closer to the 5, so he'll be going straight up (maybe?).

Tell ya what, if ya take the Warner/Magnolia South off ramp off the 405N, you'll be on Warner, first block is Magnolia.
There's a Starbucks on the right at that corner. (if they are closed till 6am, I will laugh!)

I'll be there at 5:45, if you wanna just fly thru call me when you pass Euclid or Brookhurst, and I'll catch ya rolling by.

Great ride guys. Good weather, good company, great route!!

The ride home really makes you appreciate all those empty (twisty) back roads.

I'll post a link to some pictures when I get them downloaded.

Thanks again for putting it together.

Our regular SoCalRoc photographer Ron was without a camera this day so I snapped a few of us at the diner in Taft, ca. You gotta give credit to Steve, who despite best effort to stay in the run was plaqued with a trans problem. This trooper can drop the trans oil, cover, adjust the dogleg, put cover back with oil all in 35 min. For most of us it would have been tow truck time!
