Fellow roadster nuts,

On July 21st, Shari and I are going to host a Barbecue at our place and all roadster owners are invited. Our place is right next to the pool and we promise a good time to be had by all.

We will provide drinks (soft drinks and a keg) as well as side dishes and chips and such. You will need to bring whatever you want to Barbecue.

I have a garage and will gladly let anyone who wants to do a tune up party and such and if anyone wants to organize a run from my place then be my guest.

Please let me know if you are planning on coming. You do not need to bring a roadster, just bring yourself and a good time attitude. As we get closer to the date, I will post directions and such.

Hope to see you there!

I'd surely like to be there. But the newest addition to our family is scheduled to arrive VERY VERY close to that date.

So I am playing it by ear.

Hello All,

I would like to extend an invitation to the general roadster community to come to my place for a barbecue on July 21st. I would like to see plenty of roadsters of course, but if your car is down then please feel free to come anyway.

I will be providing everything except whatever you want to bring to put on the grill. I will have a pony keg, soft drinks, snacks, and plenty of barbecue condiments. My place is right next to the pool, so bring your swim wear. I also have a one car garage that I will leave open for anyone who wants to do a wrenching/tech session.

Please RSVP to me off list so I can get an idea of how many people are coming. As the day gets closer I will send out maps and other info.

Hope to see you there!

Hi Folks,

This Saturday is our BBQ we are throwing for all peoples roadster in Southern California. I have heard from several people that said they are coming and so I am putting out one final announcement.

Anytime after 10:00 AM is a good time to arrive. For those coming from either the Valley, IE, or down South, youmight want to get together and do some formation flying down the road. I have maps for anyone who needs one and if you need to call me, my number is 949-271-6944.

Remember to bring what ever you want to BBQ. We are right next to the pool so bring the kids and your swimwear as well. A good time to be had by all!

Hope to see you then!

All,

Yesterday, Shari and I hosted a BBQ at our place for the SoCal Roadster peeps. People (and of course cars) who attended were:

Chris & Christy Breyer with their 1966 1600
Jim Garrison with his 1967.5 U20 Solexed conversion
Ron Eastman (and son Evan) in his 1968 1600
Peter Harrison in his 1970 1600
Mine and Shari's 1966 1600
Nancy & Gary Wasserman
Fergus & Carmel O'Farrel

We had a great time looking at each other's cars and of course the main order of the day which was the BBQ. Some people enjoyed the pool and there was so much food we could not believe it.

So we wanted to thank everyone who came to our shindig. We had an absolute blast and look forward to seeing everyone at a future event.
