What a great day! Plenty of beautiful cars, great weather, and good people.

Be sure to check out the picture of Mac Tilton. Crew Chief and Head engineer from the 1969-70 BRE Pete Brock Datsun 2000 racing team. He has a shop in Beullton and was roaming the show.

Thanks to Fresno DROC for organizing the show.
Lots of pictures on this page. Please wait for photos to load.

Great people, great cars, great show!!
Our 300mile strip was hot from the Bay Area. The car ran fine but I managed to melt an exhaust hanger neat the flex pipe and now it makes an embarrassing racket at 125rpm. I'll document our solution soon!
Some highlights:

-The Mendelsen Museum:
I've never been here before but it's fascinating and every garage must be explored! Here's a shot of Joe's beautiful '68 SRL:

-The Stickerman. THat's right Mark Dent flew in from Maryland to check out the show. Great to see him in person:
Image
-Kevin Desirello pulled off a super trick, super stealthy EFI U20...pm me for more info. He had a 300zx brake upgrade as well:
Image
-Eddie Wu showed up with his '66 this time with S15 SR20 /Tomei/power, Ron Davis radiator, BMW E46 M3 headlights and a trick front spoiler! Nissan factory EFI>SDS stand-alone!
Image
-THe Griffin brothers had a restored 67.5 rolling chassis, they even let me drive it:Image
-Moe ABzal surprised me with his S14 SR20 install into his '70 1600, it took him only 3 weeks! He know that 2.0 is better 2.4 :)
Image
-Tim Miner let us take his rare Nova SS for a spin!
Image
-Finally met Rick and got to see his super rare Work Equip wheels in the ever-elusive "THey don't rub fitment"
Image
-Lots of cool steering wheels
Image
-Joe Roach's '65:Image
-Paul/Caroln's fresh 67.5 2L:
Image
-DATSTER Ken was there too!
Image
-Finally met Chan who flew from Indiana...he looked like he was having a blast!

Congrats to the winners and the raffle-hounds that made out like bandits. I will ceratinly stay for more than a day in Solvang from now on!

Must be a Japanese spec car, I notice it's right hand drive!

Yeah, cool paint job. It was painted with three coats of clear :smt023

I wonder if the US military knows about this paint??!!

I also understand that Les Cannaday built/restored the rolling chassis. :smt119 :smt119 :smt119
