Club 4ag.com wheel classifieds are back

Post by Victor_laury »

The club 4ag.com forums was off the web from December until very recently. I don't know how many of you monitor it, but it's a great place to find rare wheels in roadster fittments

I remember from before when the forum was active, that it was a good place to find wheels. Just wonder though about all those racers and what they might do to the wheels, as in 'bent".
Buyer beware I guess.

Who's selling you bent wheels and why would you buy them?

No, just saying that for wheels that have been raced it seems more likely they would be bent. Getting them fixed would add to the cost. A tire guy I asked said that it is sometimes difficult to tell a wheel is bent by looking, it should be spun. Don't know if that is true or not.
Hopefully the Club4Ag guys are upfront about the condition of wheels. I see they mention "curb rash", and do mostly show close-up pictures so that is a good start.
Has your experience with this group been pretty good? That would be helpful to know for me at least.
Anyway, just my opinion, your mileage may vary.
