Stock-size non-performance radials needed

My 67.5 1600 has been sitting in the garage collecting dust for about 9 months now and I need to get going on working on it again. 2 of the tires don't want to hold air for any length of time. Probably the stems since the tires look fairly new but I just want to go ahead and get new rubber all around. I'm thinking of putting white walls on (narrow) but will put blackwalls on if that's all I can find. Anyway, most people are geared towards performance so they have non-stock rims and tires. I would like to have a fairly stock setup for the time being just so I can get the car on the road. The radials on it right now are 175-75 R14s and there's a bias spare in the trunk (5.60-14). Just went to my preferred tire shop here and they don't even have 175-75 R14s and the 185-70s were over $60 each. Anyone know of cheap whitewalls (or black) that would work.
Also, a chart I saw has the equivalent to the 5.60s as being 175/60, 165/70 and 155/80. I can't remember the aspect ratio of bias ply sidewalls to radials off the top of my head. I think it is usually around 80-85%. If that's correct, then the numbers I just posted should be closer to actual diameter than the 175/75, right?

Brad,
You can go to Tirerack.com and get a good selection in the 175-70-14 size. I have the Sumitomos which got good reviews, good price, 35 ea

Thanks, Linda. I did some more searching and have found some Firestones that are 175/65s with white wall and should be between $30 and $40 each. Smaller diameter than what I have on there now, but larger than stock.

Youch! Just checked Firestone's pricing on this tire (FR380) and it's around $60. They do offer a tire for about $30, but no info online. I'll try to run down there this weekend and see what they have. I'll check back at my other place with some other sizes that might work, too.

If you are just looking for a tire, don't sweat the brand. Call your local discount tire store and tell them what you need. Let them do the work. Then comparison shop.

Not worried about brand, more about sizes. Lots of info on what people are putting on their performance rims and cars, just not a lot of stockers on this forum

Well, if you want to keep it STOCK, then Coker makes the right tire for you! 1" whitewall bias ply for only $114 each (plus, plus, plus)

Hehe. Nope, definitely don't want bias!

Had them on my '48 before putting the coker www radials (not cheap at all!). Night and day difference in driveability. I guess I should've stated that cheap is what I want.

see which local store has the "4 for $100.00 promo". Usually can get whitewalls. That's what's on Bill K's car, don't handle too badly, ride nice.

Found a site with a calculator for some bias to radials. Just nothing as small as our car tires. It has the aspect ratio set as 75% for bias.

*Smack forehead"
Found the original overall diameter of the bias ply on Coker as 24.6". That'll give me something to go on now for comparison. Width compares to a 150 series radial. I think I have some bicycle tires that might fit. LOL!
The bias for those tires look to be about a 90% aspect ratio.

Don't want wide whites (www), just regular stock looking cheap whites. I know all about the www. I have them on my dodge and don't look forward to buying them again in the future. Way too much money. I like the wide whites on the smaller flare cars.

I just purchased these for installation on my stock steel wheels.
Check the Hankook website for dimension info.

When I bought tires for the 1500, I just called around. Stock size whitewalls are getting pretty unpopular, so they are cheap. I got all 5 for about $100 installed.
