Looking for a set of 44 Mikuni's/solexs for my U20. Just checking the water to see what these are going for and where i can get a set.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thx
Derek

If you can get for $600 with manifold and linkage... I think that would be a steal!

My used never used ever 45mm SK Racing carbs alone ran me $378, $410 after shipping.

Solexs are the way to go. However they are expensive. Look to spend $200+ on an intake, then $450+ on the carbs, and you will need to find a centerpull linkage set up as well (sometimes you get lucky on ebay and find a set of carbs already set up with them.) Jetting is another thing. One of these days I will post the correct jet combination for a roadster. Finding Solexs with dual sidepull linkages are easy, the correct linkage is worth more than its weight in platinum. Those people with extra ones don't want to sell them, and there are none for sale aftermarket. (Trust me, I looked for a year, I got lucky at Shasta when someone brought some over from Japan.) I have thought about doing some reproductions, but didn't see enough interest for me to do so.

Good luck,
Will

If you want a set of Solexs there is a set on ebay under "Datsun roadster". Currently as of 10:12 am PST, they are $640 with 7 hours to go. They are the complete set up and have all the important parts. If you really want them, do it. A complete setup is hard to find.

Thx for the suggestions. I saw those on Ebay :) o well win some lose some. I have a little time yet to find some as im still in the process of going through the U20.
Im a bit surprised they went off so cheap. Thought there would be a bidding war.
