emergency hood release

A while back, someone posted information about materials and the process for making an additional hood release that could be used in the unfortunate case that the originals breaks. Was it you Dave Kaplan?? I can't seem to find the info using the site search. Any help appreciated.. Pat Mahoney '69 2000 and '69 sr20 project

That looks spiffy. Mine is much more simple. I used a generic choke cable in the throttle lock's place. It didn't work anyway and it has an electric cruise control on it.
