Southern California SOCALROC *NEW* website

Post by eastmedia »

I have begun hosting a new SoCalROC (Southern Cal Roadster Owners Club) website. The address is:

http://higenki.com/socalroc

If you are a SoCal Roadster owner and want to be included please send me a PM. I will have a members list with whatever info you want included,
there will also be a calendar for upcoming events. There will be a messages link back to 311s.org.

At this point this is a VERY informal club. There are no meetings to attend and no costs. Just a website to post info for SoCalROC.

PM me if interested.

Looks good Ron. You can add Koji and Terry's "Datsmeet" for the first date in the calender.

The vin number links in the members page could link to the 311s.org registries for the car.

Add a "add a date" and "add a member" link

What are you using? If you use php you could mark-up on the fly.

I'm using frontpage. I think I can add those features though. If members have a 311s registry listing i'll use that. if they have a personal site, i can use that also. What's php?

Great news! I updated the clubs page on the main site to point to your new web place. Good luck!

Both socalroc.com and socalroc.org are available domain names - I'll register one if you'd like with some disk space if someone else will fill it up with stuff - .com or .org ?

Ron, It's going to be a very cool site. How do we upload photos of our cars to be posted on the site?

Ron,

Here is a link to the archived 'old' socalroc website.

Old Web Site

Lots of good history and contents you don't want to loose.

Still remember the report out by Andrew when on the Sept 200 Mt Wilson run, Jay Leno pulled over to check out the roadsters.

Cool stuff Dan. I'll have to use some of that stuff. Thanks.

BTW, added a page to become a member. Click on the link and you can input your info. It will then be emailed to me and I will fill out the member page.

Im all signed up. I need to send some better pictures. I also need to add our other cars. My wife wants to join with her 69 2000. She is jealous. It should have the interior in next week

Thanks for the work on the site. We should try to get together at the run on the 20th.
