ca18et in a 67.5 1600

Post by scottymizt »

hey guys my buddy has a 1976.5 1600 that i swapped a ca18et out of a 200sx into, everything fits great, speedo and driveshaft all plugged right in. Throttle linkage worked perfect, the only thing i need to get yet is a new tach and finish wiring up the fuel pump and hook in the alternator. I have a few questions for you guys, a while back i saw some racing rear flairs for the roadsters and for the life of me i cannot find them anymore. Anyone got any info on them? also what is a good rear swap for the roadsters or can i put an lsd in the rear in the car?

I have a 280z that i have all set up so i am not new to the datsun family and some of you might recognize me from some of the z sites.

Thanks
scotty

Cool, post some pics!

for the flares, there are a couple of options. Search for Performance Fiberglass and Japco. They make flares. There is a rear end out of a Mazda RX7 (GSL-SE iirc) that had a LSD and the same bolt pattern as a Roadster - different width though.
