Hello. I hawe a problem whith my clutch. Its stuck. I have rep.
the master clutch syl. and the movment at the slave syl. is about
3-4 cm. I think the problem is that the flyweel and clutch plate has
been stuct together after manny years of not running (Last time in
79). Hawe some of you sould thath problem without pik out the
engine and trans. My car is an 67.5 2000 solex and i am
living in norway
Hope someone can give an answer of hawe to realees the clutch

I have heard of a method of breaking the disc from the clutch. It requires a running engine. Put the car on jack stands and start the car. Depress the clutch and start the car. Put the car in 4th gear and with the clutch depressed again, start applying the brake. If that fails to work, more drastic measures are in order. Jack the car up so that the back tires are off the ground. With a helper handy, and the car pointed in a safe direction, start the engine and put the car in 4th gear. Signal the helper to drop the jack while you keep the engine running and keep the clutch depressed - the weight of the car coming down on the wheels should be enough to coax the clutch to let go. Just be VERY careful when doing these....

Just to be safe, pull the engine and tranny (its not hard, takes about 2 hours to get it out the first time.) On a 67.5 2000 I'd rather be safe than sorry. By pulling the engine it also allows you to look for other issues that could come up such as rear main seal leakage, and that sort of thing.
