Any interest....(rear disc brakes- 12/15/07 update)
In drawings / templates for the '82-83' 200sx rear brake conversion? I used the conversion writeup on the site as a guide but got tired of trying to find a good donor in the junkyards. As a result, I simply purchased the necessary componets either new (rotors-$20ea, brake hoses-$12ea, hard lines-$2ea, park brake cable and clips-$160 , bearings, seals, and collar-don't recall but $$$) rebuilt (calipers-$90.00ea + $10.00 core) or fabricated myself (axle bearing retainer plate, brake caliper bracket, brake hose bracket, and park brake cable bracket). So, if you are interested, I can send you the following,
1-Autocad drawing for the axle bearing retainer(or you could cut the backing plate)
2-Hand drawing for park brake cable bracket (autocad soon)
3-"Posterboard" template for rear caliper bracket ( could do autocad, but probably easier as a template)
4-List of necessary bolts and spacers needed
All you would need in addition is to make a couple of brake hose brackets(very easy), bend up the hard lines(not too bad, but you will need a flaring tool) and hookup the park brake (not there yet) Best of all-IT'S FREE FOR ASKING!!! (I do not need the liability for producing these and selling them ) The cost of buying everything "new" is not cheap, but at least you know the quality of the parts your getting although this obviously will still work with used parts. I will try to post pic's a little bit later this week or weekend (welding in new floorpans this week-oh joy ) PM me if you wish to take me up on this offer-while supplies last! I am also nearing completion on a wilwood dynalite single front brake conversion with a wilwood hub and rotor. You can still use 14" wheels with this and parts are plentiful and reasonable (unlike stock componets) and should be available for years to come (main reason for converting). I hope to have these completed in a couple of weeks (floorboards-remember ) and will post results at that time.

Edit: Photo's added!
Here is a preview of the front brake conversion. Still a work in progress.

When you get the autocad drawings of the front caliper adaptors, I am interested in that too! BTW, the Dynalite Billet looks like it would work with the stock disc - why not go with it? Easier to fab and less expense.

It will work with the stock disc. I went with the wilwood hat and rotor simply because the rotor was cheaper than a stock replacement and future availability should not be a concern. I know that rotors are available now but how about in 5-10 years? And what will they cost then? I will say the hat is somewhat expensive and it still needs to be machined to work on the stock hub, but I will not have to worry about expensive stock replacement parts in the forseable future. Plus I get modern materials and technology and lighter weight.
