I was going for the Monty Python, but Yogi works.
Back on the actual topic, What is the general consensus on originality:
Would you think having a car with a cleanly installed aftermarket wiring harness that looked stock would increase or decrease resale value?
I'm going with increase, a trouble free electrical harness is an asset. Aftermarket gauges is a taste issue, I like the old black and white Stewart Warner or Smiths.

Well, with regards to Cherry Blossom's issue, it is a moot point. A working aftermarket harness is better than a fried original. Since he has swapped engines, the wiring is academic.
For a purist with an original car, an aftermarket wiring harness is a bad thing. For someone that wants a good driver, I doubt it would make a difference.

I didn't know Cherry Blossom has a swapped engine. In that case, no brainer.

Ya, Ive decided to redo the entire chassis harness with some left over wiring from my swap. I have no idea what I am doing, so I am gonna pull the whole harness (or what I can fit through the small holes in the body) and just try and make an exact replica. Im gonna get rid of the old rusty fuse box too and use the U-shaped fuses.
