Aftermarket wiring harness for miata engine/sr20de?

Just thinking of getting back into roadsters. I swapped an LT1 engine in my 71 cutlass convertible, and I went with an aftermarket wiring harness to ease the installation. Are there sources for these simplified harnesses for some of the swaps listed here at this site (ka24, sr20, miata 1.8L)? Appreciate any feedback.

thx

I am using a Painless in my SR20 conversion when I get back to it. Michael Spreadbury *Spriso Motorsports* has used one of these----

Much cheaper than the Painless.

You'll also want the engine harness from the donor to make the install easier...

I honestly don't see the benefit to using an aftermarket harness unless the engine harness you got with your engine was cut. With the SR swap, there's very little integration needed between the engine harness and the roadster chassis harness. A few grounds, power for the ECU, fuel pump power, that's about it.

You could buy an aftermarket harness and wire up the injectors, MAF, IACV, CAS, throttle position sensor, knock sensor, etc. but why? The OEM harness lets you be as close to plug and play as you'll ever get with an engine swap. Just get a wiring schematic and ECU pin-out diagram and your off and running.
