I Doubt Its a Wireless Antenna

I got rid of my black, bent, European style antenna and got the correct chrome antenna for my early roadster. Only problem is it has no wire coming out of it. Those roadster engineers were great, but I doubt they had a wireless antenna (that would be an aximoron, I think) Anyone know how I can hook wires to it properly and securely to get my radio going again?
