Well, the OEM cable is more than your garden variety cable. Here is what it looks like from Rallye's website:

The price? When I checked, it was a paltry $118.57. Regards!

Oh, it is easy enough to replicate, but it is not an off the shelf item at Advance Auto Parts...

isnt that the whole ground system? b/c my current cable is a regular battery cable. Id go measure it, but its pretty far from my house to just run out there. So, how bout just the main part that goes from the battery to the frame(?).

Use a LONG tape measure :D Or don't try to do it from the house, go over to the car.

Non politically correct comment....Just put some air in the tires and pull the house over to the car

I have a ground from the battery to the frame, a ground from the engine block to the frame seperate from the battery ground(there are 2 seperate holes), and on the same ground from the battery I have the alt. grounded to that too like a cable Sid shows. I dont mean to be "too grounded" but sure beats cooking my wiring harness.

yeah, last time i cranked it.... it started spitting balls of liquid metal from the battery.
So I figured I better get the grounding system a little better :D

Kind of a radical conclusion, but if you've thought it out.....
