Question About Datsun Steel Wheels ?

I have a 1969 Datsun 1600 SPL311 Roadster and was wanting to know if the cars came out with different rim colors and if so what were they ? I'm going to repaint my black rims back to their original color or as close as possible.

All of the factory photos I have seen showed silver wheels. All of the wheels that I have had that were not resprayed were silver. I have seen black ones (have a set now in fact), but they were clearly resprayed. The Z wheels were black iirc...

I have two stock spare wheels and they both were painted silver on the outside and black on the inside.
