Hello All,
I just wanted to know if anyone was running the adjustable cam gear that Dean sells and what your thoughts were on it? Like, is it worth the money in terms of fit-finish-quality? How was it installing it? Did it do for your engine what you had hoped it would?
Thanks,
Is anyone running the adjustable U-20 cam gear?

I don't know about his but the basic theory is if you advance the cam you get more top end. I drilled out the cam gear bolt holes and removed the pin which allowed me to advance my cam. You want to watch out for a slack chain which can allow quite a bit of unintended advance until the oil pressure hits the tensioner. I run a high lift/duration cam so I shimmed the tensioner so it can't retract very much.
