SK Carbs

Does anybody have any opinion on SK Carbs? How do they compare to say Weber, Mikuni/Solex, TWM, and Dellorto?

What I understand is that they are very good carbs. They are a blended design of the Mikuni Solex and the Weber. They are supposed to be on par with the Mikuni and a bit better than the Webers. The Webers supposedly have transition porting issues that make them less desireable than the Mikunis. That having been said, there are a TON of webers out there and parts are readily available.
Did you find a good price on a set?

Let's just say I found a pair. But, I'm not certain on prices. What do you think a fair price should be?
I don't know, but would anyone know if SK 45s can be used in a blowthru air induction setup for a turbocharger later like the Dellortos.
On a side note:
The turbo setup has just to many details and mathmatics for a novice like me to do it right. As with the supercharger I just have to calculate the pulley size diameter for the task.

I don't get it... Are SK basically Solex carbs that use Weber parts?

Don't know what to tell you on price - haven't seen that many sell. Can't answer the blow through question either. No experience with that. But, yes, they are basically Mikunis with Weber jets iirc.

Well, I bought em! Woo hoo... Not much good until I get a solex manifold though...
I had a backup plan if I did not win these... Since I now have a pair, my backup plans are useless to me.
1) Another PAIR of USED MIKUNIS...
2) QUAD (4X) SINGLE-THROAT-MIKUNI carbs (not sure if they are 40 or 44). The Honda S800 Roadster had quad-carb setups. Does this look wild under the hood or what!?! Might need custom linkage.

I looked at those carbs. Nice! You may have jumped in with both feet here. I did not mention that the center pull linkage will be a BIT** to find. Will Campbell looked for over a year. He got a set that needed modifications to work properly. I did see that Rallye has some that can be used - the need mods too...
