I picked up some more of the restored parts from PA. Ends up that the restoration shop cleaned up the radiator as well. Looks nice and clean. Also got to see the gas tank which was cleaned up and painted.

I'm transporting the restored engine from my mother's basement to my home in long island. My uncle and I will be building a box for it so it doesn't slide around or tip over in the back of my car.

Too late. I just shoved the engine into the back of my Scion Xa (the hatchback - not the box looking car) with only 1/2" clearance at the top.

Went back to see the other 68 Datsun to see if there were any parts to salvage, but didn't take anything that I already didn't have. I'll post pics in the for sale section soon. The 68 1600 could be an okay restoration project for a lucky individual.
