96 miata with hardtop and soft-top. It needs a timing belt, but it was cheap. Anybody have some pics of their miatas for some ideas or just for me to look at? Might mean I have to sell the BMW.... too bad, but I think I could deal with a miata.

Evan,
Great for a daily driver! I just bought(financed  ) a 99 Miata for my wife and she hasn't touched my Roadster(or her old Volvo) since  so I guess it was worth it. If bimmer parts cost anything like Volve parts do the Miata should be a blessing. Everyone that I have talked to said that the Miatas are bullet proof as long as they have not been overheated. Having driven the Miata and then seeing pics of Alvin's, I actually started to think hmmmmmm maybe.....but then I drove the Datsun and realized how much I enjoy a "basic" car plus I get to smell like exhaust fumes afterwards!

Here's a picture of my '93 C-package.

Anyone recognize the location?

Yep. Mt. Si. The car is parked in the spot where the sign "Welcome to Twin Peaks" was in the title sequence of the series. (I took the cd cover with me to get it right).

Leigh, it was a guess, I just knew I had seen the mountain that is in your photo. I was in North Bend for a few weeks back in the early 70's. At the time my dad lived in Enumclaw and my grandfather worked out of the North Bend area building logging roads.
