That Basilic is kind of cool. I like the styling. Given that roadsters are no longer as commonly available as they were at that time, I think it would be cool to have a similar retro roadster with the Miata as a platform.

The Italia is not bad. I bet it could be grafted onto a Roadster. It would look best on a high windshield car with a custom dash in my opinion. The windshield and vent windows of the high windshield car look more Italian to me than the low windshield pieces.

Have you seen the kit for the Miata that puts in a small block ford and gives the car a Cobra body?

Those are pretty cool European looks.
I like the old timey roadster look of that Basilic, especially the two-toned version with the big, externally mounted headlights. If they had a kit with that kind of look for the Miata they would be on to something.
