Has anyone out there used the carb kits I have seen on ebay? I think they run about $37. I have also seen the little rubber boots or covers for the wipers to keep water from coming in the car, any advise?

Not sure which kit you are talking about, but this topic came up recently:

I would recommend the ADQ needles from Keith Williams in addition to the kit , or if you just need needles, get those. I like them alot. All else on the carbs need to be set up well not just the needlles. And it has been suggested that you take care of the carbs LAST after timing, valves, wiring, cooling, etc have been done.
