Side trim clip alternative

Post by Maggie »

Hey guys,
I found some trim clips that work great for only 72 cents. I bought them at Car Quest. All I had to do is remove the little metal wire it had on one side and it worked great. The part number is ABH 808249 (moulding clp wstud).

This is my cell number (956)492-6432 , call me if you want me to get them for you. They worked great. They fit perfect. They are metal and for 0.72 you can't go wrong.

And...

For those folks who are missing the s/s side trim...

Peter Vanderpas use MG side trim on his roadster. Looked pretty darn original:

" I was looking for an alternative to the unobtainable With Datsun side moulding for a '68 2000 very scarce, I tried MGB Part # 453-478 from Moss Motors. It required some cutting for the door and front piece, but overall, I am pleased with the result."

(btw...this car is now for sale...)
