But why jack up the price $300 dollars?
There were probably sales taxes payable in order to register the car. Transactions costs, my young friend. Transactions costs.

I agree, thats why I will have a high window 2000 to restore and a low window 1600 to drive. As for keeping this one, that is a slight possibility but for my own personal reasons, I choose not to.

Excellent suggestion, Mark!

I'm a lot smarter now (well, more knowledgable about Roadsters anyway :? ) than when I bought my car almost 2 years ago. I thought I was getting a driver that needed a little work, but, buying out-of-state, it's turned out to be more project than driver.

Although I still feel I got a good deal, I shoulda done more homework and more lookin' around. Unfortunately, it's Monday morning quarterbacking. I only know I shoulda spent more time -AFTER- buying this one. Oh, well...live 'n' learn, right?

Peter, unless you're in a real hurry, I'd drive your car for a month or so, which should provide more insights before you buy that next Roadster.

Oh, yeah....Roadster People Rock! 8)

To allow room for bargaining.
