Brass carb dampers

I found brass dampers that fit SU-HS6 carbs. Does anyone know whether these will fit the carbs on my srl?

Howard. I have seen them used. I say, try them if not over $20.00.

Z Therapy said that they won't fit the roadster. I guess I'll keep looking.

What makes the brass dampers better than the plastic ones? Is it just that they are hard to find? (loaded question

I think that they look better, and different.
