Hey Folks,

Just wondering if anybody knows of a mechanic here on the East Coast...Pittsburgh PA area.

Blew up my head got an Iron one on Ebay Just need to have it machined and installed and tuned. (just...)

Thanks for the input,

Wish I still lived on the West Coast...

I do not know one personally, but do know that almost any competant machine shop can mill the heads and replace the valves/springs/etc,.
Good luck. Sam

I had work done on my car at Neubert's Restorations in Bethlehem, PA (610.868.1888) - I can't vouch for the quality since only my engine is done at this point. The shop came highly recommended, but is pricey...

post this question on the Datsun mailing list........
If I remember correctly???
There is a guy on the roadster mailing list
who is heavily involved with the Pittsbugh Vintage Gran Prix event
every summer and he has roadsters ???
Teddy Seidenfield ???? not sure of the last name spelling,
but if you can make contact, he can probably steer you
to a roadster friendly mechanic in the Pittsburgh area..

The guy who worked on my car had a lot of experience with Datsun Z's - he seemed a bit lost with my car, which was his first roadster.

Thanks everybody,

I didn't find a mechanic but I found some great people in my neck of the woods. I know there aren't really any mechanics (that's sort of the deal when you buy a roadster).

So thanks to all I appreciate it. I will post some pics as things progress
