Trans output seal (or o ring?) leak advice needed

Splitting this off from the old threads (
viewtopic.php?p=330033) (
viewtopic.php?p=326518) and my engine pull thread.
I've had a leak on the output shaft since I got it. I tried a nissan seal, multiple of the other seals in the parts exchange. Nothing made a difference.
I have done right stuff around the edge of the seal, so I know it isn't leaking between the seal and casting.
The shaft on the yoke is smooth, no wear rings, rust, or pitting.
I figured that narrowed it down to the bronze bushing being worn, allowing the yoke to flop around too much.
With the bronze bushing seemingly NLA, I ordered another tailshaft on ebay when a clean looking one came up. But now that I look at it, the bushing seems worn probably more than my original. Feels like maybe I am just wasting my time swapping it out (I need to pull the engine for rear main seal anyway..)

the one in the car now - bushing looks fairly thick with no uneven wear. Leaks a lot with every seal and flings gear oil all around it.
the one I bought. looks thinner and has uneven wear at 5'oclock.
worn and thru the bronze

Also, does anyone know the size for the small o ring for the control rod? Part H / 32858-14600. That is basically my last idea. Maybe it is leaking there and then dripping down onto the housing. But it does not seem like THAT much gear oil would make it out of there even with a bad o ring.

This might be worth a try?
It has a 35mm inside diameter, which is what the (4 speed) driveshaft yoke assy requires.

is the F o-ring (32845-18800) as big of a pain in the ass to replace as it looks like? I am not sure how one would get the pressed in sleeve out.

Maybe it would be helpful to talk to an old school trans shop and see what they say? Nothing to loose...

May go that route. the best one in my area that was around 20-30 years got bought out and has terrible reviews now.
I am hoping when I pull it and can look at everything off the car, something will jump out to me.

I ordered the small o ring part H. Maybe I will try some heavy grease on the rod as well (that's what she said). That might help me at least isolate the leak even if it washes out eventually.
Interested if anyone has experience with those leaking or replacing them.

Hard to know but as you say, give everything a thorough clean then just observe the area.
Does the tail shaft slip joint show any undue wear at the seal position?

nope, it looked smooth, no pitting rust or wear rings.

Anyone have good tip for pushing out the sleeve that holds the gear selector rod in the tailshaft, to get at the bigger o ring? I tried a punch and it didn't budge lol.

You probably need a small bearing puller to grip the edge of the sleeve and slowly extract it
