My 67.5 roadster

Purchased in July of 2020. It has an h20 block,4 speed. I unfortunately do not know what’s inside the motor as far as cam, pistons, etc. I replaced the gas tank with a new one and all new fuel lines , electronic fuel pump as well as replacing all brake parts front and back. This roadster has some torque, can chirp 1st and 2nd gear :). I also added new tires, I have some mesh rims to put on but like the stock painted look too. Needs an interior redone mostly just the seats, have a roll bar that needs to be installed as well. I have the stock 67.5 black gauges. Gauges in car were already in place when purchased, currently only one works, it’s either the tac or speedometer, can’t remember which lol. It needs a new paint job it’s a good twenty footer… car was running great until having some carb issues. I replaced the floats and pins and gaskets but still having some issues 😬. Spring and summer just around the corner 🤞. Also would like to know if the rear end is a 1600 or 2000, I heard I would most likely need to open it up to find out ? Also would really like to know what’s inside the motor but until I need to open it up there’s really no reason to. Also wish I could find out the original color but this could be difficult…

Congrats. Nice looking color on that Roadster. I am a fan of the dish hubcaps and color coded wheels. Looks sharp.

Looks sweet congrats! Where are you located?

You said you changed the floats and pins for carbs. Did you take a picture of the old pins (assuming the “pins” are the needles?)… I ask because when I rebuilt my carbs I also changed the needles as I figured that was part of the rebuild but it ran terribly. I realized there are many different style needles. I found sticking with the stock style was best for my driving style (I believe needle called H7 if I remember correctly).

Check out how to tune carbs. Make sure to get timing and dizzy set before tuning carbs. And remove dog bones from linkage. A few little things before the actual tuning of the carbs and you will be golden.
