There will certainly be a lot of interest going forward on "% content".
My Honda Ridgeline was assembled in Lincoln, Alabama. go figure!

Did you know that the Honda Ridgeline is the most American made pick up truck sold right now. The Trailsport is 75% American made components. With the regular Ridgeline at 70%. Disclaimer - NHTSA considers an “American Component” to be made in USA and Canada.

Over here , Nissan is like Frigidaire was , made, home appliances, guided missiles , TVs & components for many things back in the 2000s it was
5 million for a nissan dealer all were about that

I saw that Mexico parts were routinely shipped back and forth between the USA and them, I think it's on all imports, it's just that automotive , a huge chunk

Well it looks like Vietnam and the US are about to cut a deal. So those seeking reproduction bumpers and side molding from Vietnam should not see a raise in price. I suspect other countries will follow and of course hopefully Japan.
