seat belt fastener help needed

I apologize for asking a lot of questions lately, but seems as I make progress on the interior, I have questions. I think I assumed the parts manuals would help me more than they really do.

I need to figure out the fastener configuration for the seat belts. I have the photo of the two types of fasteners I have. The ones on the right I believe are for the mount on the drivetrain tunnel, and the ones on the left with the larger head are the bolts for the shoulder belt. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I also don't know what fasteners attach the belt on the other side behind the seat.

More importantly, I don't have the washer/nylon spacer configuration for any of them. If anyone has a stock car that can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I believe you are correct. I had acquired some new shoulder straps and they can with the chrome fasteners on the left.

The two chromed, larger, rounded/thinner head bolts on the left mount shoulder belt end attachment fittings to the left and right wheel tubs, with nylon washers on both sides of the tangs. Same configuration with the four rocker and transmission mount bolts on the left and right, though not visible, so not chromed. All bolts should have an unthreaded shoulder that keeps the tightened bolt from bearing down on the nylon washers and attachment fittings, pinching the fitting and belt.

So if I have this right? (click for larger photo)

Red flat nylon washers
Blue flat metal washer
Green, locking washer

Thanks

Printner:

Here are the bolts on my 70 1600, all stock.

Shoulder Harness:

Door side lap belt:

Trans tunnel lap belt:

I didn't disassemble them to verify washers. I do see internal tooth lock washers used with the bolts used on the lap belt portions.

Hope this helps.

jt, thanks for the OEM photos, helpful to many of us. Is there any chance to measure the Chrome Bolt? I can get the threads from my car but that head is special. TIA, Dave

13/16" socket fits perfectly.
