Hi, I'm trying to run down my old 67.5 1600 roadster that I sold to a guy named Mike about 9 or 10 years ago. He told me he lived in Lakeland Fl. and owned a hobby shop with his brother. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Any more details? Where did the sale occur? Do you have the VIN#? What color(s)?

If you've been with the same insurer since then, they might have your VIN#.

Well I found it on this sites registry. It's under my name from 10yrs ago. I forgot I registered it. Now that I've got the vin# What can I do with it ?

Buy a carfax, look at where the vehicle is registered, then go to the local property tax records online and use the VIN to find the owner information in the property tax records and then send them a postcard

Thank you. Evidently it's a chassis # . I tried it as a Vin# look up. They reguired more #s.

Carfax on anything old doesn't work. Not enough numbers in the VIN.

The chassis # is the Vin #

Mr. SLOroadster is correct.
