Hah! That man has a pic of everything! I think those that have done both this and the VG30E swaps have found that you had to get creative when it came to alternator mount, as normal location brackets didn't play nicely with our frame section. So some went real low (which exposes alternator to a lot more moisture / spray) and I know some hot rods have gone to driving the alternator off the driveshaft.
With that large radius bend in the intake, seems like taking the brake pocket for the dual master and widening the pocket all the way out to hood latch pocket might be an option. (though now intake tube hits the m/c reservoir.

Sir your "mysr20 build thread" does not work for me I did find the build read on the zcarblog. Also I must write Steve because the links in the wiki tech section not work for me . Maybe I. In a chemo fog and just think that it's not working.
