Been discussed several times. Do a Search on these forums.

Also, LA is a big place. By saying where you're located, another roadster owner may be close enough to offer a hand. Of course, it might depend on what help you need.

Did you register your new toy here yet? :P

This question is often asked and, as far as I can tell from the archives, never answered. So, for the record, this guy is real good:

Mike Higgins
Marina Pit Stop
8131 Lincoln Boulevard
Westchester, CA 90045
310-645-3270

Sometimes you just don't want to do it yourself or prevail upon a list member. I've "tested" a number of shops with a terribly out of tune '66 Roadster and & he's the only one to have worked magic.

He prefers that you bring your own parts, but he sure knows what to do with them. Minutes from the beach, just south of Venice.

Is that the guy at the top of the hill going towards LAX from Playa Del Rey? Just into Westchester?

Saw a shop with lots of Z-cars there when I lived in LA, somehow never stopped to check it out.

Yep, that's the one. The owner was a Nissan (Datsun) in-house mechanic in the sixties. One of his clients has a 240Z that he's kept alive for 1,000,000 miles. From the state of the paint job, I'd believe it.

datsun mechanic?

Hi,

There's always Skip who works on old school datsuns in the Pasadena area. He owns one as well and is very knowledgeable. He's located on Altadena drive just south of the 210 frwy.
