Engine Mount brackets

I'm wondering about the differences between the engine brackets on the driver's side and the passenger's side of the engine bay. Can one of these brackets be used in place of the other, or would doing so cause any misalignment issues with the engine?
The part numbers differ. I have a spare passenger side one, I'd like to put on the driver's side. They have different part numbers.

No the angles are different from side to side and ends up tilting the engine to where the air cleaner hits the inner fender. The way to tell them apart is the driver side mount has a half moon cut towards the top back so a bolt can be accessed that holds the exhaust manifold. There is a second part to this driver side mount that goes behind it attached to the block together and is what keeps the factory exhaust from flexing and cracking.

Since your profile says you have a high windshield then likely you would have the cast iron bracket that includes the alternator mount.

The early bracket also has a plate between the engine and mount for the rubber motor mount heat shield.

I need the driver’s side part. I have a passenger side one that’s been powder-coated, but I’m not sure where it is at the moment.
I was planning to find it and install it before getting Premo’s information. I vaguely remember hearing something about this years ago, probably from Premo, who often seems like a walking history book on 311.

I know that I have the 68-70 version driver's side mount.
