1967 SPL311-06706 Restoration

Post by Curtis »

This car is finally getting towards the end. Getting paint in the next few days.

Here's what it looked like in 2001 when I got. And it had no hope of running. The photos make it look much better than it was. Many more photos to follow.

I'm not able to zoom in on the picture of the Dash, but it seemed in decent shape, Pad as well.

Let's hope that the mystery company that purchased Dean's mold and production rights cones forward soon!

Out of order but here is a sneak peak of the 1800cc stroker. And yes it is black instead of blue. Should be blue since it came with an aluminum head. But I can't stand any of the 3 shades of Datsun blue engine paint and it will look terrible in a sora blue car.

First photo a bit blurry.

That’s a lot of body work to tackle. Are you planning to repair all other it yourself? That source down under was selling the front rocker “cone” section if not familiar with them. Best of luck with that project.
