With my driveline swap I would like to run dual exhaust but of course on the pass side there is barely 2" of space between the leaf spring and the fuel tank (tank is factory offset to the pass side to provide room on the driver side for the exhaust).
I'm also looking to add a panhard bar and with that it's not likely that I can still fit the OE tank.
If you have had experience with a fuel cell in the roadster I sure would appreciate hearing from you about that. Thanks, Jim
Are you using a fuel cell in your roadster?

Eric had a V8 roadster with a fuel cell and dual exit exhaust I'll search for some photos

Thanks again Alvin. I'm going to try to keep the OE tank with panhard bar and dual exhaust but I'll see how that goes. Jim

Are you using leaf springs or links with coil-overs? There are some maths involved that I'm not too savvy with (but internet can help). Also, panhard bars should be mounted to avoid binding and roll-center issues.fairlane292 wrote: Fri May 17, 2024 1:07 pm Thanks again Alvin. Yes, leafs; moved inboard about an inch to be aligned with frame and spring eye mount recessed in the frame. Can fit 225/45/15s but can’t afford too much lateral movement of diff so panhard bar is a must.Alvin wrote: Fri May 17, 2024 2:06 pmAre you using leaf springs or links with coil-overs? Ford 8.8 is a little bigger than the stock roadster diff.
