gas gauge

What is a good after market gauge to use?
located in Chester NH
1967 1600 in restoration
2013 Arctic Cat F-1100 turbo
Ford F-350 6.0
Ford 9000 puller, Ford 960 puller, Ford 901show, Ford 971 worker, Oliver 70 waiting its turn

Speedhut makes some nice gauges that will fit but may not match your other gauges exactly. You can also get one with a more common ohm range so you can replace it with a modern fuel sender which is much cheaper than factory sending units and may be more accurate.

OP has an early car so he can use the $15 VW fuel sender if need be. No idea if would play nice with Speedhut gauge though.

If you're replacing the entire gauge set, look at New Vintage USA. All American made and really sharp. They all fit directly into the original dash holes without modification, which is great. No clock is available, but Jon Frampton can restore it to brand new.

This is my mock up / testing the wiring before actually installing in the dash ...
