Might have been hacked

This morning I tried logging into the forum with my trusty password and it no longer worked. I tried multiple times until it finally locked me out of my account. I have had several folks contact me directly and have had to reset their passwords so they could login. If you are having issues, send me an email with your user name and I will reset your password so you can log in and change it to whatever you like. Sorry for the inconvenience but it is the world we live in these days.

I would appreciate to hear from any folks whom have not been affected by the password issue. Still trying to sort out what happened? I removed a couple of suspect new accounts, actually forcing reactivation.

A few days ago I got the same thing: it locked me out but eventually my password worked? I changed my password anyway as you suggested I think all is good now. Thanks for your diligence Steve

I log in quite regularly and have NOT had any issues ... I'm going to change my password for good measure, however

I had my PW not work a couple times on Saturday(?) and then it did work and got me back in. Just thought it was a glitch.

I'm concerned, it sounds like it's a password hacking attack to get into / control of your / our password saved systems to possibly gain access to banking accounts and it affects all the places you use yours
Will do

There is zero financial information on this website. You should make a habit to regularly change your passwords. Plus using the same password across multiple systems is a very big no no. Anyone whom does so should change thier passwords immediately. When I realized there was an issue, I sent the mass email out. Something definitely happened but it appears that the issue did not affect everyone. Change your password please.
